Burlap Wreath

I always wonder what to put on my front door.
It is easy to decorate it at Christmas,
but what do I do the other times of the year?

I wanted an "all-seasons" wreath, that I could leave there and not have to change it every time a new holiday came on.

I saw this video on how to make a burlap wreath on YouTube

and decided to make my own!!!

Isn't it cute?? This is hanging on my entrance closet because I just made it last night and did not hang it in my door yet...

The little bird and the flowers I bought at Michael's
but you can make flowers out of felt or any fabric if you have leftovers at home.

My entrance needs a makeover. I already bought a doormat, and made the wreath. Now the door needs to be painted!

Here it is in daylight.
My husband put on our sideboard so
the dog wouldn't shred it to pieces!

I hope you get inspired to make one!
I will make sure to take pictures when my entrance is all complete!

Today I am partying at:

    1. Hi, Laura!!!
I know how it is!!! Between doing our projects, writing... it can be busy!!!
I am so glad you liked it! It is easy, specially if you have a glue gun already. I had to buy everything. Now that I am becoming more of a "crafter" I am starting to collect some materials. I also need to buy stuff on sale. For example, the foam ring was almost $7. Next time there is a coupon for Michael's, I will buy foam rings!
Thank you so much for stopping by!

  10. Claudine,
I noticed that you're going to be at The Olde Farmhouse Vintage Market... are you a vendor? I considered it, but don't think I have enough time to prepare (maybe a goal for next year). I'm really excited about going and checking it out though!!

    1. Yes, I am vendor! It will be my FIRST "Fair" and I am also kind of worried, what to bring, what not to bring?
Yes, please drop by and introduce yourself!
Kelley (The Upholsters Wife) was the one that got me into it!
Maybe there is still time to register???
Click on the poster on my sidebar - there you will find all the vendors, you can check out their blogs and see what kind of things they will bring! Let me know what you decide!
      Happy Easter!

      And it is so easy!
I now bought a bunch of fabric at yard sales so I will learn how to make little fabric flowers instead of buying them at Michael's!!!

  14. your wreath is lovely, I should do something on my door other than Christmas too! But as I look at my door with all the dirt, mud, scuffs and dog nose prints....it is going to have to be one heck of a wreath to cover that mess up!
